  Neo-Conservatism Kills

Well, the price is right, even if they can't count. You could line a lot of birdcages or start up the fireplace really well with these.

Perhaps this is an indicator of where this sort of claptrap is headed; to the bargain bin. Well it's about time, I say. Fucking Romans...

Wheel about and turn about and do jis so...

Now if only the Log Cabin Republicans could get their heads out of their asses and face reality like these folks have had to do. Instead they keep on wheelin' 'bout and jump Jim Crow. Dance, faggot! Dance for your massah! He gone show yo face come the RNC, sho nuff! Den put you back in yo box for safe keepin til da nex time!

How gay GOP group lost its faith in Bush

As for the Log Cabin Republicans...

Sorry, I just have zero tolerance for the sort of retarded Jim Crow reality the LCR is hallucinating. Every time they're told they have to enter through the back door of the theatre they stand up (but only halfway and in shadow, so as not to get told to sit down) and explain why it was necessary and good that it happened (usually saying 'ooooh! but see a big change is coming and...'. A change which never comes). That's why my subject line is from Daddy Rice's 'Jim Crow' lyric. "Wheel about and turn about and do jis so, Eb'ry time I wheel about I jump Jim Crow." ('Jim Crow' is the phrase used to describe the laws and attitudes causing the segregation and disenfranchisement of blacks in America. Daddy Rice was a minstrel who danced and sang and this popular tune was the basis for the phrase. It was supposedly based on his witnessing a crippled black man or boy singing something similar, describing how he jumped for his master despite his condition). You can't have your silver spoon and eat it too, you delusional bastards. Is delusional too harsh a term? You tell me... They have a tribute to Ronald Reagan on their website. Ronald Fucking Reagan, the man who turned his back on AIDS and every gay man dying from it during his presidency and refused to even so much as talk about it. This is as ludicrous as the NAACP having a tribute to James Earl Ray on their website. Yoko Ono having lunch with Mark David Chapman. Nancy having John Hinckley over for tea.

Reagan helped kill or hasten the death of, through deliberate inaction and stubborn irrational homophobia, thousands upon thousands of victims of AIDS. He would not even say the words! He would not publicly discuss the topic in _any_ way. His wife and a few cabinet members had to do what little was done.

If the LCR were not self-loathing masochists they'd put their money where their mouth was and start their own party rather than continue to trot out the same flawed rhetoric that it's OK to be an LCR because you're seeking the party's "founding principles and core beliefs". They say they're changing the party from inside. I say that's a load of horse shit. They're funding them and the GOP is just walking all over them in public. The only ones who don't see this are the LCRs themselves. All they're doing is giving the GOP a puppet face to show to the world every four years ("lookie! we got faggots, too! wanna see em jump?") and feeding them money. The most bizarre bit is where they praise the grassroots changes in the Democratic party. Somehow they don't see the irony that the Democrats changed in response to their party's moving more to the right than the center they claim they're pushing it to. The LCR is either mentally deranged or gluttons for punishment. Either way, they're just plain full of shit.

Wheel about. Turn about. Jump Jim Crow.

The only group more delusional is the ALBRC founded by Don Sneed [1] [2]in response to the LCR's one solid move this year (not 'oficially' endorsing Bush). Sneed, who, despite _being_ black himself, has several complaints up against him for discriminating against blacks, seems to enjoy the limelight and his council position... appointed to him by Bush.

  Behind the scenes

Were you wondering what the candidates were writing during the debate?
While Kerry's notes were boring "reiterate for 100th time I did not say that", Bush's notes were more revealing.
Take a look.
